UPDATE: Drivers who use Tatamy Bridge are being detoured to 8th Street to Tatamy Road then Northwood Avenue and Bushkill Drive after PennDOT announced the bridge closed.
Earlier today, PennDOT reported the bridge closed due to deck damage. The bridge was already slated for replacement and was scheduled to be closed later this summer for repairs.
The bridge is expected to be closed until November 2012 for repairs.
